Location. Close to train station with good access to Zug, Zürich and Luzern. Cham is a nice little town with several restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance of the hotel. A pleasant, quite alternative to Zug.

Convenience of proxmity to station and ease of getting to Zurich and Lucerne. Also the very relaxing environment in which the Hotel and the small town of Cham is situated. Very satisfying breakfast to start off each morning.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Lorze. Both times because we were participating in the Expat Expo. From a convenience point of view you can't get any better or closer. We will definitely stay there again if we go to next Expat Expo. Breakfast was good and plentiful.
Whilst the key system works it is a bit of a nuisance having to always remember to change keys before leaving the building. It is very easy to get locked out and if you don't remember the pin code to enter the building I really don't know what you would do as the receptionist is only present during certain hours.

We had a large comfortable and very quiet room (superior) with small enclosed terrace and large bathroom with both shower and tub. Easy to find and drive to and parking right under the hotel. Helpful staff. Not much to see in Cham but there's a nice walk along the lake and trains go to Zug and Luzern as well as other places. It was a good place to stop for first night after flying into Frankfurt airport (heading toward Italy). Great restaurant very close.
Automatic lighting in bathroom. Too bright and couldn't be adjusted. Lights turned off automatically while I was in shower or bathtub.

The room is clean and made renewal.
The explanation of hotel location given at the site is not so clear and it took much time to reach to the hotel. Hotel is made fully automatic and in the weekend no one is present at the reception after 11:00am to which it took a bit time to understand the system and some guests may be embarassed at time of arrival at the hotel.

Our room was located right along the river and was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
There was no one to greet us when we arrived at the hotel. We did arrive on a Sunday evening and they did state in the hotel information that there is no one staffed on Saturday & Sunday other than from 8am to Noon. In our experience, the smaller, locally owned places are usually on premises to greet you and are proud owners. This did not seem to be the case with this establishment. We did call between 8am and Noon on Sunday morning to get the exact directions because we did read on the website when making the reservation that others had problems finding the hotel. We did have minor problems, but after finding it, were glad that we had called ahead for the added information about putting in the code and changing out keys, etc. that wer
